Preparation for Career and Internship EXPO

The West Texas A&M University Career and Professional Development Department is hosting EXPO Essentials Day on Feb. 4 and Feb. 12. There will be free styling sessions with Dillard’s and pop-in resumé reviews.

EXPO Essentials Day will prepare students for the Career and Internship EXPO happening on Feb. 19. Pop-in resumé reviews will be held in the Classroom Center room 113 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Students will need to bring a printed copy of their resumé and a Career and Professional Development employee will help make changes.

Students can sign up for a styling session with Dillard’s using the link in the email sent out by Sam Langford. Styling sessions with Dillard’s will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. downstairs in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center. A Dillard’s stylist will help students find an outfit that makes them feel confident at the Career and Internship EXPO.

Langford advises students to plan ahead, in case there is a line for the styling session or resumé reviews. Students will be able to keep the free clothes from Dillard’s that they picked out during styling sessions.
